FreeBuild sheet 07 of 08 · Concept site · fictional company

1 OF 1How the site was made

Everyone wears the same jacket. Only one wears 001.

How we made a concept site for a fictional jacket brand: every prompt exactly as it was sent, the steps in order and how long it took.

THE FILM · 10 SECONDSFOUR PICTURES
A crowd in identical graphite puffer jackets with their hoods up stands in rows in a grey haze; one man at the centre is in sharp focus.Film at 3 seconds: people in the same jacket walk out to the left and right while the man at the centre stands still.Film at 6 seconds: a few people are still walking out of the frame around the man at the centre. The last frame: the man stands alone in the grey haze, hands in his pockets.Generated with AI
A video model was given two pictures, the crowd and the man alone, and made the 10 seconds between them. The people, the pictures and the film were generated with AI.
01 · The idea

One idea, one moment, one job.

The idea is what the page is about. The moment is the one thing built for this business alone. The job is what it does for the owner.

The idea

Only one of them wears 001.

Everyone in the room wears the same jacket. The hero is one 10-second film: a crowd in identical puffer jackets walks out of the frame, person by person, until one man is left. Then the page moves in on his jacket and ends at the number stitched inside it.

The one moment

The crowd walks out

When the page opens, the crowd leaves one by one, every person walking out of the frame on their own feet, until only one man stands in the haze. It plays once and holds on him. With motion off, the page opens on him alone.

What it does for the owner

Sell a numbered edition

  • Choose your number from 250; taken numbers are greyed out
  • A size guide, and a jacket you drag to turn
  • The price and a checkout (a demo: no order is taken)
  • Questions, delivery and returns
02 · The steps

In the order we did them.

Each step says what we did and why. Open Details under a step for the tools and the numbers behind it.

  1. Design the product first

Design the product before the site: an image model made one oversized graphite puffer jacket, then three more views of the same jacket, and the four were saved together as one product.

    Details
    • nanobanana-pro
    • 2K
    • 4:5

Calls 01 to 04, 25 Sep 2026, a day before the site, for an earlier version of this concept. Call 01 had no reference; calls 02 to 04 each sent picture 01 back and changed the view. The four are saved together as one product (strata-shell in our cast list), so every later call attaches all four by name. Other jacket tries from that day belong to the earlier concept and are not on this sheet.

  2. Bring in the same man for every shot

Use the same man in every shot: Arlo, a person we had already generated and saved with four reference pictures, so his face holds from picture to picture.

    Details
    • saved character
    • 4 reference pictures

Saved as the character arlo: a front view, a three-quarter view, a profile and a full-length picture. They were made before this site, and their prompts are not on this sheet.

  3. Make the crowd

Ask the image model for a crowd all wearing the jacket, with Arlo alone in sharp focus at the centre, sending his pictures and the jacket's with the words; the second try was not him, so the first was kept.

    Details
    • nanobanana-pro
    • 2K
    • 16:9
    • 8 reference pictures

Calls 05 and 06, the same prompt, each sent with Arlo's four pictures and the jacket's four. Call 06 was not used: our face check scored the man at the centre as someone else, and the men beside him were as sharp as he was. The prompt asks for eighteen people; the picture has fourteen, so the film prompt says fourteen.

  4. Edit the crowd away

Send the crowd picture back and change one thing: everyone has gone except Arlo, same camera, same light. That is the last frame of the film.

    Details
    • nanobanana-pro
    • edit

Call 07 sends picture 05 back as the reference and changes one thing: everyone but the man at the centre has gone.

  5. Film the crowd walking out

Give Kling, a video model, the crowd as the first frame and Arlo alone as the last, and ask for 10 seconds with no sound (the length is a setting you choose), writing every exit as a walk to a named edge of the frame and saying that nobody fades away.

    Details
    • kling-3.0-pro

    • 1080p

Call 08: first frame picture 05, last frame picture 07, cfgScale 0.6, and a negative prompt. Stepped through frame by frame afterwards: every person walks out by the left or right edge, nobody fades or pops out, and there is no jump into the last frame.

  6. Make the pictures two more films end on

Make two more pictures to end films on: a close-up of the jacket's chest from the same camera, and the inside of the jacket with a blank label where the number goes.

    Details
    • nanobanana-pro
    • edit
    • 2K

Call 09 edits picture 07 into a close-up of the chest (16:9). Call 10 sends the jacket's four saved pictures and asks for the inside of the jacket with one blank label (4:5).

  7. Film four short shots

Ask Kling for four 5-second films, each starting from a picture already made: the camera circles Arlo, a hand zips the jacket, the jacket turns from front to back, and the jacket opens to its label.

    Details
    • kling-3.0-pro
    • 5 s each
    • 1080p
    • no sound

Calls 11 to 14. The circle starts on picture 07 with Arlo attached as a named element (@Element1); the zip starts on picture 03; the turn runs from picture 01 to picture 04; the label film from picture 01 to picture 10. The label film outran the time the tool waits, so it was collected from the same job afterwards, not sent again. Its first 32 frames stand still and frame 33 jumps, so the page plays it from frame 33.

  8. Film the push-in

Ask Kling for one more 5-second film that pushes straight in from Arlo to the close-up of his chest, so the page can travel from the man to the jacket.

    Details
    • kling-3.0-pro
    • 5 s
    • first + last frame

Call 15: first frame picture 07, last frame picture 09. Arlo closes his eyes for about half a second, around frames 40 to 52; those frames were rebuilt from his open-eyed frames on our own machine instead of making the film again.

  9. Sharpen the films shown largest

Run the three films people see largest through Topaz, an upscaler, so they stay sharp on big screens.

    Details
    • Topaz
    • 2x upscale

Calls 16 to 18 upscale films 08, 15 and 11 to twice their size (3,856 × 2,144 px), with no prompt. The page loads the smaller frames first and the sharp ones on large, sharp screens.

  10. Turn the films into scroll frames

Turn each film into still frames so the page can play it as you scroll, with a smaller set for phones.

    Details
    • Python
    • AVIF
    • WebP
    • canvas

Six frame sets (the hero, the push-in, the circle, the zip, the turn and the label), each in a phone size and a desktop size, drawn on a canvas. A full scroll on a phone weighed 1,685 KB after the size pass of 26 Sep.

  11. Draw the mark and build the sale

Draw the brand's mark in the page over the chest close-up, and build the part that sells: choose your number, choose your size, see the price.

    Details
    • SVG
    • JavaScript

Brass lines trace the seams of the chest close-up and part into the brand's mark. The number grid, the size guide, the jacket you drag to turn and the demo checkout are built in the page.

  12. Review every picture and film at full size

Open every picture and film at full size before it goes on the page, and write down what each one has to do there.

    Details
    • review

Seventeen reviews are on file, each tied to its file: sixteen shipped and one rejected (the second crowd). Every shot of Arlo was face-checked against his saved pictures.

03 · The calls

Every prompt, exactly as sent.

A call is one request to an AI model: the words, plus any pictures sent with them. Each prompt is copied from our records, never retyped, beside what it made. The exact settings sit under each one. One call made a picture the site does not use: it is listed, and its prompt is left out.

Call 01: The jacket, from the front

A picture, from words alone

An oversized graphite puffer jacket floats on its own against a mid-grey backdrop: big pillowy baffles, four chevrons meeting at a brass zip, hood up.Generated with AI
Made: picture 01The jacket on the edition card and in the size guide (cut out from its background), and the first frame of the turn and label films.

Nano Banana Pro, an image model, made this picture from the words below alone.

The prompt, exactly as sent

A photograph of a single oversized puffer jacket floating upright in mid-air on a mid-grey seamless paper sweep, lit by one large soft light from above. The jacket is heavily lofted: big, round, pillowy down baffles that stand well out from the body, a boxy oversized cut with dropped shoulders, wide puffed sleeves, and a large integrated puffer hood standing up full and rounded behind a tall padded collar. The shell is matte graphite ripstop nylon, puffed tight over the down with soft creases at the seams. The baffles are wide chevrons pointing down: four fat chevrons across the front, each about eighteen centimetres tall at the chest, meeting at a brass centre zip so every point lands on the zip; five fat chevrons on each sleeve; the hood and collar quilted in the same wide rounded tubes. One brass zip and one small flat brass pull tab, the only metal on the jacket; no other hardware, no visible pockets, no drawcords. Avoid: a slim or fitted quilted jacket, thin flat baffles, a sports or ski jacket, orange, a second colour, welt pockets, a mannequin, a person, hands, a hanger, a busy backdrop, any lettering. Vertical 4:5 frame, the subject's visual centre at exactly mid-height and horizontally centred, a real unretouched photograph. No text, no logo, no watermark.

Call 02: The same jacket from three-quarter, hood down

A picture, from words and an earlier picture

The same jacket from a three-quarter view, zipped, with the hood folded down into the collar.Generated with AI
Made: picture 02Not on the page: one of the four saved pictures of the jacket, sent as a reference with calls 05, 06, 10, 12, 13 and 14.

Nano Banana Pro, an image model, made this picture from the words below and the picture sent with them.

Sent with it: picture 01, the jacket, from the front.

The prompt, exactly as sent

Edit this photograph. Keep the jacket exactly as it is: the same oversized boxy puffer in matte graphite ripstop, the same big pillowy baffles, the same four fat chevrons down the front meeting at the brass zip, the same wide sleeves quilted in plain horizontal rolls, the same slim pocket opening in the front seam, the same brass zip and the one small flat brass tab at the bottom of the zip, and keep the soft light from above, the camera height and the size of the jacket in the frame. Turn the jacket about thirty-five degrees so that its front faces toward the viewer's left; the straight-on front view is no longer in the picture. The hood is now folded down and tucked away inside the collar, so no hood is visible: only the tall padded collar stands up around the neck as one full rounded tube, a little fuller at the back. From this angle the chevrons run from the zip round the side of the body. Exactly one jacket and exactly one brass tab, floating a hand's width above the floor with one soft round shadow directly beneath it. Remove the small brass piece at the top of the collar; no backdrop edge or light visible: the mid-grey sweep fills the frame. Avoid: a visible hood, a hood hanging behind, a second jacket, a second tab, drawcords, toggles, snaps, any lettering, badge or logo, orange, a second colour, glossy nylon, a person, a neck, hands, a mannequin, a hanger. Vertical 4:5 frame, the subject's visual centre at exactly mid-height and horizontally centred, a real unretouched photograph. No text, no logo, no watermark.

Call 03: The zip and its brass tab, up close

A picture, from words and an earlier picture

Close on the lower front of the jacket: chevron baffles meet at the brass zip, and a flat brass tab hangs at the hem.Generated with AI
Made: picture 03The Material card, and the first frame of the zip film.

Nano Banana Pro, an image model, made this picture from the words below and the picture sent with them.

Sent with it: picture 01, the jacket, from the front.

The prompt, exactly as sent

Edit this photograph. Keep the jacket's material, colour, baffles, zip and tab exactly as they are, and keep the soft light from above. Move the camera in close to the lower front of the jacket: the frame now shows only about thirty centimetres of it, from the point of the third chevron down to the hem, with the zip running straight up the centre. The hood, the collar, the sleeves and the backdrop are no longer in view. The brass zip teeth run up the centre on a graphite tape; on each side the fat, rounded chevron baffles come down toward the zip, and their points meet it at the same height on both sides. At the bottom of the zip hangs the one small flat brass pull tab, in sharp focus, its face plain brushed brass. The fine ripstop grid shows on every baffle, matte, with soft highlights on the tops of the baffles and soft shadows in the seams. The zip and the tab are sharp and the baffles fall gently soft toward the edges of the frame. Exactly one zip and exactly one tab. Remove the small brass piece at the top of the collar; no backdrop edge or light visible: the mid-grey sweep fills the frame. Avoid: letters, numbers, words, initials or marks on the tab or anywhere, a second tab, a fabric pull, a flap over the zip, stitching in a contrasting colour, glossy nylon, silver or a second metal colour, a hand, fingers, a person, orange, a second colour. Vertical 4:5 frame, the subject's visual centre at exactly mid-height and horizontally centred, a real unretouched photograph. No text, no logo, no watermark.

Call 04: The jacket from the back

A picture, from words and an earlier picture

The same jacket from the back, hood up, four chevrons pointing down to a centre seam.Generated with AI
Made: picture 04The back of the jacket you turn on the page (cut out), and the last frame of the turn film.

Nano Banana Pro, an image model, made this picture from the words below and the picture sent with them.

Sent with it: picture 01, the jacket, from the front.

The prompt, exactly as sent

Edit this photograph. Keep the jacket exactly as it is: the same oversized boxy puffer in matte graphite ripstop, the same big pillowy baffles, the same dropped shoulders, the same wide sleeves quilted in plain horizontal rolls, the same full rounded hood quilted in wide tubes, and keep the soft light from above, the camera height and the size of the jacket in the frame. Turn the jacket around so that we now see it straight from the back, with the hood up. The front, the zip, the brass tab and the pockets are no longer visible, and no metal shows anywhere in this view. The back is quilted in four fat chevrons, every V pointing straight down with its point on the centre line of the back. The hood stands up full and rounded above the collar, seen from behind, in wide rounded tubes running from the crown down to the collar, with no cord and no toggle. Exactly one jacket, floating a hand's width above the floor with one soft round shadow directly beneath it. Remove the small brass piece at the top of the collar; no backdrop edge or light visible: the mid-grey sweep fills the frame. The top edge of the frame is plain mid-grey paper, the same tone as behind the shoulders: the curved top edge of the backdrop, the dark band above it and the light fixture are no longer in the picture. Avoid: the front of the jacket, the zip, any metal, a second hood, a hanging loop, a label, drawcords, toggles, any lettering, badge or logo, a person, a head inside the hood, a mannequin, a hanger, a second jacket, orange, a second colour, glossy nylon, the edge of the backdrop, a dark band at the top of the frame, a studio ceiling, a softbox or light fixture. Call 05: The crowd: the film's first frame

A picture, from words and saved pictures

A crowd in identical graphite puffer jackets with their hoods up stands in rows in a grey haze; one man at the centre is in sharp focus.Generated with AI
Made: picture 05The first frame of the walk-out film, and the opening picture of the page.

Nano Banana Pro, an image model, made this picture from the words below and the saved pictures sent with them.

Sent with it, by name: Arlo, a man saved as a character: four reference pictures of him, made before this site. Their prompts are not on this sheet.

Sent with it, by name: the saved jacket, pictures 01 to 04 on this sheet.

The prompt, exactly as sent

A campaign photograph of eighteen people standing in loose rows in a grey haze, every one of them wearing the same oversized graphite puffer jacket from the reference: big pillowy down baffles, four fat chevrons across the front meeting at a single brass centre zip with one small flat brass tab, the large rounded puffer hood UP on every person, no other hardware, nothing orange, no logo. The man from the reference stands alone at the centre of the front row, the only figure in sharp focus, lit by one cool light from above, hands in his pockets, looking into the camera; the second row is already soft, the rows behind fade progressively into the haze, the back row only silhouettes. All faces calm, feet on a pale concrete floor, dark trousers and boots on everyone. Wide frame, camera at chest height, slight telephoto compression so the rows stack; the front figure's visual centre at exactly mid-height and horizontally centred, with clear haze above his head for type. Avoid: any lettering or logo, a second jacket style, different colours, an orange pull, hoods down, extra or missing fingers, faces merging, duplicated identical faces, a bright or white background, a person cut by the frame edge. Horizontal 16:9 frame, a real unretouched photograph. No text, no logo, no watermark.

Call 08: The film: the crowd walks out

Kling 3.0 Pro, a video model, made this film from a first frame, a last frame and the words below.

First frame: picture 05, the crowd: the film's first frame.

Last frame: picture 07, only one man remains: the film's last frame.

The prompt, exactly as sent

One continuous locked-off shot, the camera does not move at all: same position, angle, lens and framing from the first frame to the last. Fourteen people in identical graphite puffer jackets with their hoods up stand in loose rows in a grey haze on a pale concrete floor; one man stands at the centre of the front row. 0–1 s: everyone stands still; only the haze drifts. 1–8 s: the crowd walks away, one person at a time, starting with the front row: each person turns and walks at a normal walking pace out of the frame, the people on the left out of the left edge, the people on the right out of the right edge; then the back rows step forward out of the haze and leave the same way. Every person visibly walks out on their own feet; nobody fades, dissolves or vanishes. They pass beside the man at the centre, never in front of him. The man at the centre never moves: same spot, hands in his pockets, looking into the camera, only breathing. 8–10 s: he stands alone in the empty grey haze, the haze drifting slowly behind him.

What to avoid (the negative prompt), exactly as sent

camera movement, zoom, push in, pan, orbit, people fading, dissolving or vanishing, people walking in front of the centre man, the centre man moving, turning or walking, his face changing, new people appearing, hoods coming down, a different jacket, orange, text, logo, watermark, flicker, colour shift, blur, distortion

Edit this photograph into a close-up taken from the same camera position and angle, as if the lens zoomed straight in on the centre of the man's chest. The frame is filled by the graphite puffer jacket from just below his chin to his waist: the big pillowy down baffles, the four fat chevrons meeting at the single brass centre zip, the brass zip teeth running down the middle. Sharp from edge to edge, with real fabric detail: the fine ripstop grid, the stitch lines of the baffles, the teeth of the brass zip. Kling 3.0 Pro, a video model, made this film from a first frame and the words below.

The prompt, exactly as sent

One continuous macro shot of the lower front of a graphite puffer jacket: big pillowy chevron baffles meeting at a brass zip, the small flat brass tab hanging at the hem. 0–1 s: still; soft light from above. 1–4 s: a fingertip and thumb enter from the bottom edge, take the brass tab, and pull the slider slowly up the zip, the teeth closing behind it, the baffles either side lofting and settling as it passes. 4–5 s: the hand lets go and leaves by the bottom edge; the tab swings once and stops. The camera glides slowly upward with the slider the whole time.

What to avoid (the negative prompt), exactly as sent

a second hand, extra fingers, the zip opening, a second zip, lettering, logo, orange, a change of colour, glossy plastic, blur, flicker, distortion

Kling 3.0 Pro, a video model, made this film from a first frame, a last frame and the words below.

First frame: picture 01, the jacket, from the front.

Last frame: picture 04, the jacket from the back.

Also attached by name, as @Element1: the saved jacket, pictures 01 to 04 on this sheet.

The prompt, exactly as sent

One continuous locked-off shot, the camera does not move. A single graphite puffer jacket floats a hand's width above a mid-grey studio floor, hood up, one soft round shadow beneath it. Over the whole shot the jacket turns slowly and evenly on its vertical axis, a half turn toward the viewer's left, from its front with the brass zip to its back with the four chevrons pointing down. The shadow stays beneath it; the light stays the same.

What to avoid (the negative prompt), exactly as sent

camera movement, the jacket tilting or flipping, a person inside, a mannequin, a hanger, a second jacket, the hood changing shape, lettering, logo, orange, flicker, colour shift, blur, distortion

The prompt, exactly as sent

One continuous shot. A single graphite puffer jacket floats a hand's width above a mid-grey studio floor, zipped shut, hood up, one soft round shadow beneath it. 0–1.5 s: the brass zip opens on its own from the collar downward, the teeth parting all the way to the hem. 1.5–3 s: the left front panel swings open toward the camera, revealing the smooth black nylon lining inside. 3–5 s: the camera pushes in fast toward the inside of the open panel and stops close on the small blank off-white woven label stitched to the lining beside the inner zip pocket. The soft light from above stays the same.

What to avoid (the negative prompt), exactly as sent

hands, a person, a mannequin, a hanger, a second jacket, a second label, letters or numbers on the label, lettering, logo, orange, a coloured lining, the jacket changing colour, extra zips, camera shake, flicker, blur, distortion

Made: film 15Carries the page from the man to his jacket as you scroll. Half a second where he closes his eyes was replaced by hand. Three moments from it above.

Kling 3.0 Pro, a video model, made this film from a first frame, a last frame and the words below.

First frame: picture 07, only one man remains: the film's last frame.

Last frame: picture 09, close on the chest: the push-in's last frame.

The prompt, exactly as sent

One continuous shot. A man in a graphite puffer jacket with the hood up stands alone in an empty grey haze on a pale concrete floor, hands in his pockets, looking into the camera. Over the whole shot the camera pushes straight in, slow and steady along one line, toward the centre of his chest, until the graphite puffer jacket fills the frame: the four chevrons, the brass zip, the fine ripstop grid. He stays completely still, only breathing. The single cool light from above stays the same. No dialogue.

What to avoid (the negative prompt), exactly as sent

the man moving, walking or turning, a second person, his face changing, the camera turning, tilting or orbiting, a different jacket, orange, text, logo, watermark, flicker, colour shift, blur, distortion

04 · The log and the time

Every call, and how long it took.

The log lists every call, used or not. The times come from the log and our saved versions, and say so where they are estimates.

One line per call, in the order they ran. Sixteen made a picture or film the site uses, one made a picture used only as a reference for later calls, and one was not used; it is listed anyway.

Time

12 min

To make the four jacket pictures, on 25 Sep 2026, the day before the site.

Details

21:09 to 21:21 UTC, 25 Sep 2026, read from the call log.

About 21 h

From the site's first picture to its last change, wall clock. The pictures and films went out in rounds, each after a go on its prompts, so much of that time is waiting, not work.

Details

First picture of the site 04:35 UTC, 26 Sep; the rounds: the crowd pictures 04:35 to 05:15, the walk-out film 05:37, the close-ups and five short films 17:11 to 22:37, the three upscales 01:39 UTC, 27 Sep; the last change saved at 01:55 UTC, 27 Sep.

Not timed

How many of those hours were working time was not written down.

Details

Read from the call log and our saved versions; no stopwatch ran.

05 · The honest line

It took more than one prompt.

Eighteen calls to three models: one not used, one made only as a reference picture, and three that only sharpen a film. Then the work no prompt does: every picture and film opened at full size, a blink replaced by hand, six films turned into scroll frames, the mark drawn over the close-up, and the number picker, the size guide and the checkout built in the page.
