I wrote this myself, without a lawyer. It is an honest description of how I actually run this, not a reviewed legal document. Have a lawyer review it before this business sells at any scale. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
What I collect, what I do not, and how to get it deleted. This describes what actually happens, not a compliance badge.
If you buy, I end up with your email address and a record of the order. That is the whole list.
I run no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies of my own on this site. The free tool sends nothing anywhere.
Checkout is Stripe Managed Payments, and Stripe is the merchant of record. Stripe is the processor for the payment.
Stripe and Link collect your payment details, your email address, and the location information needed to charge the right tax. I never see your card number. It does not reach me at any point.
What reaches me is your email address and the order record: what was bought, when, the amount, the country used for tax, and the payment reference. I get that so I can send you the file, answer you if you write, and keep a record of the sale.
Stripe processes the payment under its own privacy policy, published on Stripe’s own site. For anything about the payment itself, Stripe holds it.
That is the complete list. I do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.
Buying does not put you on a mailing list. There is no newsletter sign-up on this site and no box that was pre-ticked.
If I ever start a list, it will be one you deliberately opt into, and every email will carry an unsubscribe link and a postal address. Unsubscribing will mean off the list, not fewer emails.
/camera-moves takes no payment, needs no account and asks for nothing. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and makes no network requests of its own — everything it does happens inside the page you already loaded.
The site is hosted on Vercel. As with any web host, its servers handle the request your browser makes, and standard server logs exist as part of that — typically IP address, time and the page requested. Those are the host’s, not something I collect or look at.
I run no analytics on these pages. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no advertising tags, and no cookies set by me.
I do not track you across websites, so there is nothing to switch off. I do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because I am not collecting the kind of data those signals are about.
If you ask me to delete everything, I will — but I may have to keep the bare record of the sale itself, because tax record-keeping requires it. If that happens I will tell you exactly what was kept and why, rather than quietly keeping it.
If you are in the EU or the UK, the law gives you rights over your data: to get a copy of what I hold, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to how I use it, and to complain to your data protection authority.
I am not going to print a compliance badge on this page. What I will do is this: email japhet.medoit@gmail.com and ask, and you get a plain answer and the actual action within one business day. Deletion means deleted, other than anything tax law makes me keep.
If you are somewhere else, ask anyway. I will handle it the same way.
This is a working tool for people producing video. It is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.
