What you get

Buying Why It Came Back Wrong gives one named person a licence to use it.

• Perpetual — it does not expire, and I cannot switch it off.
• Non-exclusive, and worldwide.
• Non-transferable — you cannot sell it, give it away, or pass it to someone else.
• Non-sublicensable — you cannot grant anyone else the right to use it.

If a company paid, the licence still belongs to one named person at that company: the one who will actually read it.

What you may do

• Read it, as much as you like, for as long as you like.
• Keep copies on your own devices, and print one for yourself.
• Use the findings in your own work. This is the point of the thing.
• Use them on commercial work, including paid client work. If something in here saves a client’s shoot or a client’s budget, that is exactly what it is for, and you owe me nothing further.
• Quote a short passage, with attribution to PromptLens, in a review or an ordinary discussion.

What you may not do

• Share, send, upload or post the file, or any substantial part of it.
• Put it in a shared drive, a team folder, a Notion, a Discord, a course, a membership or a swipe file where other people can read it.
• Resell it, or sell anything that contains it.
• Republish the document itself, whole or in substantial part, in your own product, post, video, newsletter or deck.
• Use it as training data for a model, or as part of a dataset.
• Strip out the notices, the byline, or the provider and route labels on the findings.

Using the findings is allowed. Passing on the document is not. That is the whole line, and everything above is just detail on it.

No resale rights. None.

This is not sold with resale rights of any kind.

• No private label rights (PLR).
• No master resale rights (MRR).
• No white label rights, and no right to rebrand it.
• No right to bundle it with anything, and no right to give it away as a lead magnet.

I am spelling this out because in this category silence gets read as permission. It is not permission. If you find this document offered anywhere with resale rights attached, it is not authorised and it did not come from me.

More than one reader

One copy is one reader. If your team needs it, buy a copy each, or email me and I will sort out something sensible for a team.

Copyright

I keep the copyright. Buying a copy buys you the licence described above, not ownership of the work.

If the licence is broken

If the document gets shared, this licence ends for the person who shared it.

Realistically, I would far rather send an email asking you to buy another copy than do anything else. But the licence ending is what formally happens.

What is not covered here

The free tool at /camera-moves is a separate thing. It is free to use and there is nothing to agree to.

What is and is not warranted about the findings themselves is on the terms page. In short: every finding names the provider and route it was measured on, and I do not warrant it reproduces on yours.
